Peace Fleece Yarn - Worsted weight skein - made in the usa
Peace Fleece yarn has been involved in local and fair trade business since its inception in 1985.
I have knit with peace fleece yarn since 1990 and I have treasured every item I have knit with this wonderful yarn. I hesitate to list this yarn here as it is not handmade by me; all the credit goes to Peter Hagerty and Marty Tracy and now to Harrisville Designs, Inc. who purchased the Peace Fleece business last year. I will admit to a special bond with this product & yarn company and am particularly thrilled that their yarns feature native wool producers.
This listing is for up to 4 skeins of Baltic Blue, a dark, peacock teal worsted weight yarn.
Each skein is a 2 ply and approx. 200 yards per 4 oz. skein. With washing and wear the yarn will dramatically soften and halo revealing the mohair content.
