Angel's Wings, Opalescence carded fiber blend for felting, hand spinning, crafts

Angel's Wings is an Opalescence blend of white wool, kid mohair & alpaca shimmering with firestar make up this beautiful angelic colorway. This blend contains long, lustrous BFL & kid mohair locks carded together with fine grade alpaca and nylon firestar into a cloud ready for handspinning and/or felting.

A blend of pure white fibers designed especially for creativity in spinning and felting projects. 100% made in the USA from homegrown, hand washed, dyed, blended and fully carded Bluefaced Leicester wool, mohair and alpaca. This blend has firestar added for extra sparkle. Spinners accustomed to commercial combed top, which can be dense and require significant predrafting, will likely find this carded preparation easier to spin. The fibers are gently processed to help retain the unique characteristics of each fiber. 

The animals whose fibers are in this blend were raised by shepherds dedicated to the fiber arts and to their fiber animals, that's me, my helping family and local alpaca producers in my fibershed. At Dakota Carding & Wool we pasture raise our sheep and maintain a non medicated, healthy environment for our four-legged friends!
All of the fibers have been carefully sheared, washed and carded using only ecologically safe soaps.
